Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Pet Groomer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in grooming dogs, cats and small animals.

Grooming involves styling pets based on owners' requests or standard grooming styles. It includes de-matting, detangling, bathing, conditioning and drying of pets. Trimming nails, brushing teeth and cleaning ears is also part of the job.

The successful candidate must handle pets with care and patience, ensuring their safety and comfort during grooming. They will identify and inform pet owners about any potential health issues such as ear infections, skin conditions or dental concerns.

Other responsibilities include recommending suitable pet care products to owners and maintaining a clean and hygienic grooming environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • A minimum of 2 to 3 years hands-on grooming experience with dogs, cats and rabbits.
  • Class C Certification in pet grooming.
  • Ability to oversee and mentor Assistant Groomers.
  • Passion for animals, patience and a caring approach.
