Pet Animal Grooming Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Pet Groomer to join our team. As a Pet Animal Grooming Specialist, you will be responsible for styling pets based on owners' requests or standard grooming styles. Your duties will include de-matting, detangling, bathing, conditioning, and drying of pets, as well as trimming nails, brushing teeth, and cleaning ears.

Key Responsibilities:

  • De-matting and detangling pets to prevent matting and tangling.
  • Bathing, conditioning, and drying pets to maintain their coat and skin health.
  • Trimming nails, brushing teeth, and cleaning ears to ensure the overall health and hygiene of pets.
  • Identifying and informing pet owners about any potential health issues, such as ear infections, skin conditions, or dental concerns.
  • Recommending suitable pet care products to owners and maintaining a clean and hygienic grooming environment.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 to 3 years hands-on grooming experience with dogs, cats, and rabbits.
  • Class C Certification in pet grooming.
  • Ability to oversee and mentor Assistant Groomers.
  • Passion for animals, patience, and a caring approach.
