Responsibilities
Data Strategy and Management (40%)
Support HOD to collaborate with JHC Transformation office to implement data strategies that align with organisational transformation efforts.
Design and maintain data extraction scripts, data tables, dashboards and reports to support advanced analytics and AI initiatives.
Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all platforms.
Data Analytics and Visualisation (40%)
Create interactive dashboards and visualisations using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
Conduct complex data analysis using advanced statistical methods and/or machine learning techniques.
Translate complex data findings into actionable insights for stakeholders at all levels.
Business Needs and Requirements Gathering (20%)
Collaborate with various departments to gather requirements and understand business and data needs.
Participate in AI and digital transformation projects, providing data analytics expertise.
Be secretariat to relevant meetings.
Contribute to the development of data literacy programme in JHC.
Any other ad-hoc duties assigned by Reporting officer and/or HOD.
Requirements
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in data science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in data analysis (for Senior Data Analyst role), preferably in healthcare or a related industry.
Proficient in analytics and visualisation tools such as SQL, Python, Tableau and/or R.
Strong understanding of statistical analysis, machine learning algorithms, and predictive modelling.
Familiarity with AI technologies and their applications in healthcare.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to translate complex data into insights.
Strong communication skills with the ability to present technical information to non-technical audiences.
Excellent project management and organisational skills is a must.
Experience with healthcare data and systems (e.g., Electronic Medical Records) is a plus.
Clinical Experience is a bonus.
