Summary
Lead the development and implementation of the patient access strategy at the country level.
Facilitate and achieve optimal Patient Access by building relationships with key influencers and decision-makers locally.
About the Role
Major accountabilities:
Drive decisions related to patient access strategy at the local level.
Utilize insights from cross-functional teams and market research to develop and implement high-quality patient access strategic and operational plans.
Establish and maintain strong professional networks within local government authorities, healthcare providers, health economic organizations, and other relevant decision-making bodies to anticipate and influence legislative trends.
Communicate relevant changes and trends in the local health policy environment and activities of new competitors to the cross-functional team.
Create and collaborate with the region/franchise to agree on business cases.
Demonstrate good negotiation skills and the ability to conduct and understand tenders/deals from a commercial perspective.
Key performance indicators:
Reimbursement/listing status, pricing versus targets, time to reimbursement/access, revenue, and market availability/access.
Success in broadening access via alternative funding models.
Minimum Requirements:
Degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Biomedical, or related disciplines.
Proven ability to develop trust-based relationships with key regional stakeholders.
Knowledge of reimbursement processes and commercial principles.
Experience in driving innovative solutions in self-pay segments.
