Project Description
The objective of this project is for the trainee to be able to code/manage our current Engineering Team with the guidance of CTO and/or COO, to be able to solution, architect, develop and review peer codes and work collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
The trainee will be involved in Coding, Developing, Architecting and Solutioning our current technical domains.
The Technical Engineering Manager (trainee) at Mesh Bio, will be mentored by COO and CTO to lead a team of software engineers to design, develop, and deliver high-quality, scalable healthtech solutions. The Manager (trainee) will work closely with product managers, designers, quality assurance, and commercial teams to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions that align with the company’s strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities
With the guidance of CTO and COO will lead, mentor, and manage a team of software engineers to ensure timely and successful delivery of product features and updates.
Collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, commercial, and customer success teams to align engineering efforts with business objectives.
Translate product and user requirements into clear technical specifications, sprint plans, and development tasks.
Oversee the planning, design, implementation, and deployment of software projects using agile methodologies.
Promote best practices in software development, including code quality, testing, documentation, CI/CD, and version control.
Identify and resolve technical risks or challenges that could impact delivery timelines or product performance.
Facilitate technical discussions, architectural planning, and decisions to support scalable and secure product development.
Support ongoing performance reviews, skills development, and career progression of the engineering team.
Ensure the implementation of data privacy, security standards (e.g., ISO27001, HIPAA), and compliance requirements.
Stay up to date with new technologies and drive continuous improvement in engineering practices.
Any Ad Hoc work related tasks as assigned by immediate superior
Qualifications
Master’s / PhD in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields with strong foundation in coding, system design, algorithms, and software architecture; and/or
Master’s in Biomedical Engineering, Health Informatics, or Digital Health with understanding in healthcare workflows, data standards, and compliance.
Project scope shall not be limited to the above. It may encompass other related tasks needed for the project/role assigned by the partner company.
