Role Overview The Product Director owns the product vision, strategy, roadmap, and execution across AYP Global Pay. You will: Define the future of AYP’s platform based on deep buyer and user understanding Build automation‑first workflows using n8n and AI Shape simple, intuitive UX out of complex HR and payroll processes Lead the Product team and Process team Drive clarity, accuracy, and trust across every feature This role is for someone who is strategic, curious, growth‑minded, and obsessed with solving real user problems. Key Responsibilities Lead a clear, future‑forward product vision grounded in deep understanding of our buyers and users . Anticipate evolving HR, payroll, and compliance needs across APAC and translate them into a strategic, competitive roadmap. Identify market gaps and new opportunities in AI, automation, and UX to differentiate AYP. Ensure the roadmap aligns with commercial goals, client outcomes, and our brand promise of Peace of Mind . Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, and Ops to keep the roadmap aligned to real buyer demand and user behaviour. Drive continuous refinement of buyer personas and user journeys to maintain strong product‑market fit. Deep User & Buyer Persona Understanding Know our users 100% Conduct user research, discovery, journey mapping, and persona refinement. Translate real workflows and behaviours into clear product decisions that reduce friction and errors. Ensure every feature delivers clarity, speed, and trust. Build Automation‑First Products Design automation‑first workflows using n8n and other orchestration tools. Build reusable automation modules that remove manual steps and increase operational efficiency. Integrate AI responsibly to guide users, validate data, reduce mistakes, and support compliance. Ensure all automation and AI features are safe, predictable, and auditable. Own PRDs, roadmap prioritisation, UX direction, and stakeholder alignment. Partner with Engineering, Payroll, Compliance, Finance, and Operations to deliver high‑quality, scalable releases. Ensure product decisions improve accuracy, visibility, and user experience across the entire HR and payroll lifecycle. Uphold strong standards of documentation, clarity, and internal communication. Lead & Grow the Product Team Directly manage Product Managers and the Process Analyst . Build a culture of curiosity, structured thinking, user empathy, and growth mindset. Coach the team to think strategically, run discovery, and make evidence‑based decisions. Ensure consistent UX, product quality, and decision‑making frameworks across the team. Requirements 8+ years of Product Management experience Strong hands‑on experience with n8n, workflow automation, and orchestrating cross‑system processes. Experience delivering AI‑driven product features in real‑world applications. Deep understanding of UX, systems thinking, and end‑to‑end product journeys. Exceptional ability to understand buyer personas and user behaviour across markets. Strategic thinker with strong execution discipline. Highly curious, adaptable, and growth‑minded — constantly learning and improving.
