Environmental Control Officer

RESPONSIBILITIES Work closely with the project team on environmental issues such as noise monitoring, pollution, vector control, air pollution, water pollution and drainage, prevention & control of infectious diseases, food hygiene, solid waste management, chemical storage & disposal and haze response procedure. Ensure compliance with latest environmental regulations. Implement and monitor environmental, health and safety management systems at work site. Implement environmental monitoring and management plan (EMMP) at worksites. Prepare, submit statutory reports and maintain documentation for environmental public health requirements on environmental issues. Conduct regular inspection and actively involved in safety matters on site. Attend site safety meeting and prepare weekly report. Liaise with government authorities in relation to safety and environment compliance matters. REQUIREMENTS Candidate must possess at least a recognized Diploma in relevant trade. Must be registered ECO with NEA and ECMO with IES. At least 3 Year(s) of working experience in the building construction field is required for this position. Candidate has Singapore HDB/BTO project experience is preferred. Work well under pressure and work independently. Familiar with Occupational Safety, Health and Environmental regulations. Familiar with environmental monitoring and management plan (EMMP) specifications. Be dynamic, self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented. #J-18808-Ljbffr
