Job Description:
The Associate Engineer, System Engineering role is an entry-to-mid-level position responsible for supporting the technical and operational aspects of system engineering activities within the organization. The individual in this role will work closely with senior engineers, IT managers, and project teams to assist in the maintenance and improvement of IT infrastructure and support processes.
Key responsibilities include assisting with daily system operations, supporting configuration and setup of hardware and software environments, and participating in system upgrades or rollouts. The Associate Engineer will be expected to follow best practices and internal protocols to ensure systems are running efficiently and securely.
In addition to hands-on technical tasks, the role requires active participation in project management activities. This includes preparing and updating status reports, tracking project milestones, coordinating with various stakeholders, and supporting documentation and administrative tasks to ensure project timelines and deliverables are met. Strong organizational and time management skills are essential for success in this role.
Familiarity with IT fundamentals and troubleshooting is important, and candidates holding a
CompTIA A+ certification
are preferred, as it demonstrates foundational knowledge in computer systems, hardware, and software troubleshooting.
