Our Customs Brokerage raters are responsible for managing import/export Customs clearance process following the country's law, rules and regulations. Their primary responsibility includes providing their expertise in HS tariff classification, duties and tax valuation. They ensure that all shipments can be released on time as per UPS' service guarantee timeline to customers. Job Responsibilities Receive or download pre alert files from origin and check any discrepancy. Examine product information to ensure compliance with regulations. Perform classification/rating of the shipments according to tariff coding system. Validate Customs duty & tax as required. Submit and receive customs clearance data via online as per UPS accommodated timeline cycle or before shipment arrival or depart. Send duties and taxes
