Job Description Brokerage Rater supports the processing of the day-to-day brokerage declaration activities. They will perform defined brokerage processes and procedures to meet deadlines and ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal and external standards. Rater will detect irregularities and use judgment based on regulatory guidelines along with Importing and Exporting Laws to resolve. They will conduct dialogue with customers for any technical information needed to support the customs clearance. Job Duties Conduct declaration assessment Review and interpret shipping documents Support brokerage declaration activities by applying the regulated declaration requirement by assessing shipment details Communicate with customers when necessary to facilitate declaration submission Inform and validate with customers when the amount payable is between the 1st and 2nd level threshold to confirm "OK" Manage notification to F&A when the amount payable is greater than the 2nd level threshold for F&A to collect
