What You'll Do: Architect and build robust, scalable server-side applications using Node.js, Laravel, or similar frameworks. Design, implement, and maintain clean, well-documented RESTful APIs. Drive the optimisation of our platform for maximum speed, performance, and scalability. Champion security best practices and implement measures to protect user data. Collaborate with our talented frontend team to seamlessly integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic. Elevate our codebase through constructive code reviews and mentorship. Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring our platform runs flawlessly. Stay ahead of the curve by exploring and implementing emerging technologies and industry best practices. What You Bring: A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Strong professional experience with server-side languages like Node.js or Laravel. Solid understanding of front-end technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS). Proven experience with database systems such as MySQL or MongoDB. A firm grasp of RESTful API design principles and version control with Git. A strategic mindset for building scalable, resilient applications. Exceptional problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail. Excellent communication skills in both English and Mandarin to collaborate effectively with our diverse team. A collaborative spirit, capable of working both independently and as a vital part of a team. Bonus Points: Familiarity with Agile methodologies and the Scrum framework.
