Head Coach For High Performance Gymnastics Centre The Yard is expanding, and we are proud to be opening our newest high-performance gymnastics centre at Jurong – Perennial. As Singapore’s premier gymnastics provider, we deliver programmes for athletes of all ages and abilities - from beginners to elite international competitors. Our mission is to create a safe, supportive, and inspiring environment where every athlete can grow, achieve, and thrive. We are now looking for a Head Coach to work alongside our Squads Manager to lead the coaching team and athlete development programmes at this new facility. This is a rare opportunity to take ownership of shaping the culture, systems, and performance outcomes of a brand-new high-performance centre from day one. About the Role: The Head Coach will play a pivotal role in developing and delivering world-class training programmes, inspiring athletes and staff alike, and ensuring The Yard continues to raise the standard of gymnastics in the region. Key areas of responsibility include: Designing and overseeing high-performance training programmes for competitive athletes. Monitoring athlete development, progression pathways, and competition readiness. Supporting talent identification to build a strong pipeline from grassroots to elite level. Collaborating with management to grow the high-performance programme. Upholding the highest standards of athlete safety, wellbeing, and welfare. Building strong relationships with parents, athletes, and stakeholders. Representing The Yard at competitions, workshops, and events. About You: We’re looking for an experienced, passionate leader who is ready to make their mark on a new high-performance environment. You will bring: A minimum FIG Level 1–3 (or equivalent) coaching qualification. Proven experience coaching athletes to national or international standard. A strong track record of leading competitive programmes. Experience mentoring and managing a team of coaches. Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with confidence in engaging parents. A commitment to safe sport practices, athlete wellbeing, and long-term development. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and travel for competitions. Key Success Measures Successful launch of the Jurong facility, with strong uptake in memberships, camps, and events. High customer satisfaction and retention rates. Year-on-year growth in memberships and event revenue. Effective financial management, including timely resolution of outstanding payments.
