Property Asset Manager Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Property Asset Manager in our team. As a key member of the property management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the overall day-to-day maintenance and operations of our building.

You will assist the Building Manager in coordinating and supervising maintenance activities, ensuring contractors / vendors and technicians complete all repair and maintenance work within the required timelines and standards. You will also review and recommend cost-saving measures to reduce water and electricity consumption or increase durability of building systems.

To succeed in this role, you will need strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. You will work closely with the team to ensure the property asset management service offering is developed, implemented, achieved, and maintained.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and supervise maintenance activities to ensure timely completion.
  • Review and recommend cost-saving measures to reduce water and electricity consumption or increase durability of building systems.
  • Assist the Building Manager in calling tenders and quotes, OH&S issues, root cause investigation and resolution of operational issues, negotiation and contracting.
  • Develop and implement asset strategies and plans.
  • Work with the team to realize client's asset plan expenditure savings targets.
  • Deliver exceptional quality of service to clients as reflected by client feedback.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as property, facilities management, or business.
  • At least 2 years of experience in property management, facilities management, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of property management principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
