Drive and facilitate collaboration between stakeholders to drive the implementation of the innovation projects under the Synapxe. Role & Responsibilities The Assistant Manager's primary Role & Responsibilities will be to identify and evaluate innovation projects from the various forums/sources with the main aim and objective of converting these into structured collaborations between users, internal teams and the industry solution providers and manage the outcomes of the projects. They are empowered to recommend and try innovative ways and approaches to achieve these outcomes. They work collaboratively with the rest of the internal and user teams to manage the innovation projects to successful completion. Key roles include: Structured analysis and evaluate users' needs by understanding and documenting their operational workflows and objectives, systems and applications in use and their limitations, and importantly their issues and problem statements that they wish to resolve through new and innovative means and solutions. Identification of the appropriate pathways and options to recommend to the user based on a clear understanding of their needs and the solutions and services available to them via the department, organisation, and industry to the best of their knowledge. Challenging conventional thinking where needed to value-add and push users and peers to think beyond today's boundaries. Independent engagement with users and building of strong relationships to become trusted partners of choice and function as key liaisons for other technical staff, domains, and departments within the organisation. Supporting the team, department, and organisation to achieve the same trust with the users and industry partners. The role is to plan and manage one or multiple inter-dependent projects spanning multiple years. The role will oversee all aspects of assigned projects throughout the project lifecycles to ensure completion within the defined scope, quality, time and budget constraints. Management of budgeting, funding and claims administration, progress reporting, staffing meeting, and part of committees' secretariat team. Participation in the strategic planning of department matters, providing inputs and suggestions to chart or re-chart paths and target outcomes, and the execution of operational matters to ensure we achieve those outcomes. Requirements Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Healthcare/Biomedical Science or equivalent. At least 4-6 years of working experience as a Management Consultant, Technology Consultant, Business Analyst, Project Manager or similar discipline. Working experience in IT, Healthcare, and/or Singapore Public Sector are added advantages. Analytical, structured and meticulous with strong problem-solving skills. Use of critical thinking skill in handling complex stakeholders and ambiguous and fuzzy requirements, and actively discusses own views to arrive at effective solutions. Strong written and oral communication skills. As the role will involve in conveying business challenges into clear documentation on requirements through asking thoughtful questions and writing, and presentation to the stakeholders for discussion and approval. Able to work under pressure, ambiguous and rapid changing environment. Good in tasks and time management with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Responsible, accountable, integrity, self-motivated and driven to achieve personal, department, and organisation goals and outcomes. Able to work independently, ability to be autonomous but proactive in reaching out for support. Experience and/or knowledge in Diagnostic radiology clinical and operational workflows, Medical Imaging scan and/or vision AI technologies for e.g. in X-rays, CT, MRI scans, System Interface & Integration, understand HL7 & DICOM standard are added advantages.
