We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive inventory assistant to support our inventory and seafood processing operations. The ideal candidate will have strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, a good understanding of inventory management processes and systems, and a willingness to grow in a dynamic work environment.
As an inventory assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining and updating inventory records accurately using inventory management software and Excel. You will also assist in daily stock reconciliation and cycle counts, monitor stock movement and highlight discrepancies or low stock levels, coordinate with procurement, coldroom, and operations teams for inventory flow and accuracy, generate regular inventory reports and assist with audits, and support administrative tasks related to inventory and logistics.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and update inventory records accurately using inventory management software and Excel.
  • Assist in daily stock reconciliation and cycle counts.
  • Monitor stock movement and highlight discrepancies or low stock levels.
  • Coordinate with procurement, coldroom, and operations teams for inventory flow and accuracy.
  • Generate regular inventory reports and assist with audits.

Requirements:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (including VLOOKUP, pivot tables, basic formulas).
  • Good understanding of inventory management principles and software.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication and organisational skills.
  • Fresh graduates with relevant coursework or internships are encouraged to apply.
