About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and hands-on Solution/AI Engineer based in Australia to support the development, deployment and scaling of PreSAGE's innovative healthcare solution across aged care and hospital environments in Australia. This role is crucial to the success of local trials and commercial rollouts, software customization and feature enhancement, ensuring technical reliability, stakeholder engagement, and customer confidence in our system. The candidate will need to work closely with the team based in Singapore for joint development and support. Frequent travelling is expected.
Key Responsibilities:
  • On-Site Deployment & Support: Lead the end-to-end deployment of the PreSAGE solution at aged care and hospital sites, including hardware installation, network setup, and site-specific system configuration (e.g. WiFi, room layouts, power infrastructure).\
  • Trial Execution & Technical Enablement: Provide technical support for pilot trials-ensuring reliable system performance, incident monitoring, and real-time troubleshooting to support clinical validation and stakeholder confidence.
  • User Training & Education: Deliver hands-on training to care staff and healthcare professionals on system usage, alert response, and basic troubleshooting; provide ongoing guidance to ensure adoption and effective system use.
  • Software Customization & Feedback Integration: Collaborate with the Singapore-based development team to implement site-specific software adjustments and contribute to feature enhancements based on field feedback.
  • Post-Deployment Maintenance & Reliability: Conduct proactive system maintenance, updates, and support to ensure ongoing system stability, minimize downtime, and meet the high-availability expectations of healthcare environments.
  • Cross-Team Collaboration: Serve as a bridge between the local market and the Singapore-based engineering team, providing timely feedback, technical insights, and support coordination to improve product fit and performance.
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Trial Conversion: Provide on-site technical assurance and education to key decision-makers and users, supporting stakeholder buy-in and conversion of trials into commercial deployments.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed records of deployments, configurations, support issues, and customer feedback to inform future deployments and product improvements.
  • Travel Readiness: Travel regularly across Australia/New Zealand and SEA to support multiple trial and deployment sites, ensuring consistent and high-quality technical service delivery.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Computer Science / Computer Engineering, Data Science / AI /ML, Information Technology, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Hands-on experience with hardware setup, WiFi/network infrastructure, and troubleshooting.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively train non-technical stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, travel to customer sites, and manage multiple support priorities.
  • Familiarity with incident management and customer support tools.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel regionally.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior experience supporting medical or assistive technologies in aged care or hospital environments will be an advantage
  • Understanding of data privacy and compliance requirements in healthcare.
  • Experience working in or with multidisciplinary healthcare teams will be an advantage.
