We are seeking a skilled and experienced Commercial Space Designer to join our team. Our ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio showcasing their design expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with clients and stakeholders.

Job Description

A commercial space designer is responsible for creating visually stunning and functional designs that meet client requirements and exceed expectations. This includes designing and developing interior spaces for commercial and workplace projects, including hotels, retail spaces, and offices.

The successful candidate will be able to develop and present design concepts, including 2D and 3D visualizations, to clients and stakeholders. They will also be able to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, engineers, and contractors, to ensure seamless project execution.

A key aspect of this role will be conducting site visits and surveys to inform design decisions and ensure compliance with project requirements. The designer will also be responsible for developing and managing project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project delivery.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial and workplace interior design, with a focus on hotels and retail spaces
  • Proficient in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp) and Adobe Creative Suite (e.g., Photoshop, InDesign)
  • Excellent presentation and storytelling skills, with the ability to effectively communicate design concepts and ideas
  • Strong client engagement and relationship-building skills, with the ability to understand client needs and preferences
  • Portfolio showcasing design expertise and experience in commercial and workplace projects
  • Strong attention to detail, with excellent organizational and time management skills
