About The Job

As the Senior Store Planning Manager, you will drive the overall store network development and work closely with internal stakeholders and external business partners to manage the design, planning, and execution of Louis Vuitton's store concepts for existing and new stores.

Job responsibilities

  • Drive and communicate global design guidelines and standards to ensure each Louis Vuitton store delivers the brand's aesthetic and quality vision.
  • Manage the entire project cycle from conception to completion to ensure timely delivery of projects of the highest quality within budget.
  • Identify and explore opportunities for delivering bespoke store concepts that meet country needs, managing costs, schedule, design, and quality control of projects with global store planning teams, local teams, and business partners (e.g., local architects, contractors, vendors).
  • Continuously optimize design concepts and ensure execution aligns with budget targets.
  • Lead, manage, and oversee assigned architects, consultants, fit-out, and millwork contractors with the store planning VP.
  • Liaise with local landlords and authorities to ensure proper guidelines and all relevant startup information are in place for projects.
  • Conduct regular site visits and meetings to ensure compliance with Vuitton's standards, resolve issues, and ensure proper follow-up.
  • Coordinate with suppliers of millwork and furniture to prepare designs and manage approvals for project realization.
  • Manage direct orders from HQ nominated suppliers, including logistics and customs clearance, to ensure timely store openings.
  • Address challenges in the project lifecycle, identify potential crises, and define mitigation plans.
  • Travel frequently – approximately 30%.

Profile

Key Qualifications

  • Background in architecture with experience in high-quality facades, interiors, and store planning project management.
  • Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or Project Management in Design & Construction.
  • Experience in luxury retail design is highly desirable but not essential.
  • Strong knowledge of quality standards, materials, and methods in construction and millwork for luxury environments.
  • Resourceful, driven, and able to communicate effectively with all stakeholder levels.
  • Analytical with strong project management and execution skills, capable of engaging multiple stakeholders in a multicultural environment.
  • Team player with a proactive attitude, adaptable to fast-changing environments.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, CAD, 3D software, and Photoshop.
