Executive (Claims Processing/Financial Management)

Working Hours : Mon–Thurs 8.30am to 6pm, Friday 8.30am to 5.30pm Salary : Up to $4600Start Date : Immediate Duration : 6-Months contract (extendable to 5 more months)Nearest MRT : Tai Seng Key Responsibilities Claims Processing : Manage and process claims from local universities involved in research projects to ensure they are completed accurately and in a timely manner. Financial Administration : Work closely with programme managers to monitor and manage project finances, ensuring that funds are allocated and tracked correctly. Stakeholder Communication : Serve as a liaison between internal teams and external stakeholders, addressing queries and ensuring smooth communication regarding finance and claims. Process Improvement : Identify and propose improvements in the financial management of research grants to align with national guidelines and minimize the risk of grant fraud. Additional Support : Assist with other administrative tasks as directed by the supervisor. Requirements Experience : 1-2 years of relevant experience in grant management, claims processing, or financial administration (preferably in a research or academic setting). Skills : Proficient in Microsoft Excel (e.g., Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Index Match) for data analysis and report generation. Attributes : Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently. Strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Educational Background : Diploma or degree in Finance, Business, Project Management, or related fields is a plus, but not mandatory.
