The Role
The Main Responsibilities
Assist in statutory audit and tax compliance work in APAC region like Japan, Singapore, Australia, Hong Kong, Thailand and Malaysia.
Participates in the preparation of local GAAP financial statements, tracker, balance sheets schedules, note to accounts and any other reporting work required.
Work closely with auditors to provide all supporting and variance analysis timely and accurately.
Collaborate with the wider team to obtain additional information as requested by auditors.
Contribute and collaborate as an active member of a team in achieving common goals, solving problems, developing “win-win” solutions, and assuming joint accountability for results/outcomes.
Other duties as assigned.
What We Look For in a Candidate
A Professional Accounting Qualification e.g., CA, CPA, ACCA or equivalent
Eight or more years of full set accounting/financial reporting experience/shared-function experience
Knowledge of financial reporting requirements
Goal-oriented and meticulous
Good planning and time management skills
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
Effective communication skills both oral and written
Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
Ability to complete tasks with minimal supervision
Ability to obtain information from various departments within Lumen to accurately reconcile key corporate accounts
Initiative to set priorities and complete projects
Preferred Requirements:
US GAAP reporting experience
APAC countries GAAP reporting experience
Experience with SAP or other large ERP systems such as Oracle
