Structured Products Specialist

We are seeking a forward-thinking and analytically strong Structured Products Specialist to design, manage, and evolve our structured product offerings. This role combines investment ideation, operational management, and thought leadership — ideal for someone who understands both the art and science of structuring investment ideas tailored to diverse client needs. The successful candidate will generate customized trade and investment ideas based on client profiles and market conditions, work closely with the IT team to automate and scale ideation processes, and collaborate with the content team to build a strong intellectual and public profile as a structured products expert. Key Responsibilities 1. Product Ideation & Structuring Generate bespoke trade and investment ideas aligned with different client risk profiles, investment goals, and market views. Develop and maintain a structured approach to idea generation — combining quantitative insights, market analysis, and behavioural understanding. Liaise with product providers and counterparties to structure and price customized products. 2. Automation & Process Enhancement Collaborate with the IT and Product teams to automate the idea generation process, incorporating data analytics and rule-based investment logic. Define system requirements and business logic to scale personalized product ideation and improve time-to-market. 3. Product Operations & Governance Manage the operational lifecycle of structured products — including product setup, documentation, execution coordination, and post-trade monitoring. Ensure all product operations comply with internal controls, risk management, and regulatory requirements. Partner with the Operations and Compliance teams to streamline processes and ensure operational excellence. 4. Thought Leadership & IP Development Produce market insights and articulate the logic behind investment ideas to build proprietary intellectual capital. Work closely with the Content Strategist to publish articles, reports, videos and thought pieces that reinforce the firm's leadership in structured products. Represent the firm's structured product capabilities in internal and external forums when required. Requirements Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related discipline; professional qualifications (e.g. CFA, FRM) preferred. Minimum 5 years of experience in structured products, investment advisory, or related roles within private banking, wealth management, or investment banking. Deep understanding of structured products (equity-linked, interest rate-linked, fund-linked, and hybrid structures). Familiarity with front-to-back operational processes of structured products. Strong track record in product structuring, idea generation, or investment strategy development. Innovative mindset with an interest in technology, automation, and digital product design. Experience in working with technology or analytics teams to automate investment processes is a strong plus. Excellent analytical and quantitative skills. Strong communication and presentation ability to articulate investment ideas and market logic clearly.
