Job Description:

Our team seeks a highly skilled Technical Specialist to lead the implementation and operation of audio and lighting systems for various events and installations. As a Technical Specialist Lead, you will be responsible for ensuring all systems are compliant with industry standards and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities include collaborating with sales, project managers, and other stakeholders during the proposal and planning stages, setting up, configuring, and testing audio and lighting systems, operating systems during events, rehearsals, and live productions, and providing on-site technical support during installations and performances.

Additionally, you will diagnose and repair faults in audio/lighting systems, perform routine maintenance and updates to hardware and software components, maintain detailed records of system configurations and equipment inventories, and train end-users and venue staff on the use of installed systems.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Possess at least a Diploma in Audio Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Technical Theater, or related field.

At least 4 years of relevant experience with professional audio and stage lighting systems.

Proficiency with analog and digital audio consoles (e.g., Yamaha, Allen & Heath, Soundcraft).

Familiarity with lighting control systems (e.g., MA Lighting, ETC, Avolites).

Understanding of signal flow, gain structure, and system calibration.

Knowledge of networking protocols for AV systems (Dante, Art-Net, DMX, etc.).
