Audio and Lighting Systems Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Audio and Lighting Systems Specialist to join our team. As an integral part of our operations, you will be responsible for setting up, configuring, and testing audio and lighting systems, ensuring they meet the highest standards of safety and industry compliance.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with sales, project managers, and other stakeholders during the proposal and planning stages.
  • Set up, configure, and test audio and lighting systems, including mixers, speakers, amplifiers, microphones, lighting consoles, DMX-controlled fixtures, and more.
  • Ensure all systems are compliant with safety and industry standards.
  • Operate audio and lighting systems during events, rehearsals, and live productions.
  • Provide on-site technical support during installations and performances.
  • Diagnose and repair faults in audio/lighting systems.
  • Perform routine maintenance and updates to hardware and software components.
  • Maintain detailed records of system configurations and equipment inventories.
  • Train end-users and venue staff on the use of installed systems.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Possess at least a Diploma in Audio Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Technical Theater, or related field.
  • At least 4 years of relevant experience with professional audio and stage lighting systems.
  • Proficiency with analog and digital audio consoles (e.g., Yamaha, Allen & Heath, Soundcraft).
  • Familiarity with lighting control systems (e.g., MA Lighting, ETC, Avolites).
  • Understanding of signal flow, gain structure, and system calibration.
  • Knowledge of networking protocols for AV systems (Dante, Art-Net, DMX, etc.).
