Audio Visual Systems Specialist

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of audio-visual systems. They will perform thorough testing and troubleshooting of technical issues, plan and execute maintenance and improvement works, and prepare technical findings and reports for management review.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Diploma or Nitec in Audio Visual, Lighting, Electronic, or Electrical Engineering is required. The candidate should have hands-on experience with show entertainment devices, Audio-Visual/ Video and Lighting technologies, preferably with AVLC system integration experience.

  • The ability to perform shift work (day or night) and weekends/public holidays, as well as work-at-heights, is essential.

  • Basic computer skills (MS office) are a must. Knowledge in show controller such as Medialon, Alcorn Mcbride, QSYS DSPs & Lighting controllers, its peripherals, and multiple types of Audio and Video configurations/devices would be an advantage.

  • PC/server troubleshooting and Networking knowledge, as well as some PLC knowledge, would be beneficial.
