Key Duties & Responsibilities | About the Role
Reporting to the Director, this role allows you to enjoy a great share of responsibility in our organization. You play a significant role in running the company together with other key team members and eventually gives you the career opportunity to run a department of your own, recruiting your own team members.
Oversee and monitor company’s income, investments and expenses
Work closely with other department heads and report to management on a timely manner for any issues deemed critical or highly importance
Perform meetings in a periodical schedule to communicate with other executives to maximise profits and decrease cost
Submission of GST filing to IRAS and assist in yearly submission of financial closing
Ensure all documents submitted accordingly from finance compliance to financial SOPs and guidelines
Assist to perform day-to-day operational matters such as preparing invoices, manage accounts receivables & payable
Verify and process payment vouchers to suppliers and follow up on discrepancies with inter-departments and/or vendors when applicable
Follow up with customers on invoices due and send reminders for payment status and update weekly SOAs accordingly to external and internal stakeholders
Ability to maintain and responsible for full set of account including AR, AP, GL, Fixed Assets is an advantage but not a must
Perform other related and ad-hoc duties as assigned by direct superior
Qualifications & Experience | About You
degree holder in Accountancy/ Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and/or related field or ACCA equivalent
3 years of relevant experience
Possess meticulousness and has a knack for details
Possess positive attitude, dynamic and task-oriented
Independent, resourceful, good analytical and communication skills
Strong sense of responsibility, hardworking, able to perform under pressure
Highly proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel & PowerPoint
Less working experience candidates &/ or non-degree holders will be
considered in a junior position
