Mass Hiring Baggage Coordinator Shift

Job Responsibilities:
  • Manually updating Baggage Information and Flight Information Displays
  • Troubleshooting multiple, often simultaneous, scheduling conflicts as they arise
  • Coordinating with Engineering Baggage Control Room for any real time operational changes and challenges in the Baggage Handling Area
  • Ensuring Arrival Baggage Presentation performance and mishandling rate are met or exceeds KPI
  • Ensure the Baggage Handling Area is always kept clean and tidy by working with other stakeholders
  • Report to Facility Management Committee for any issues with the facilities and cleaning
  • Facilitate Joint Inspections with stakeholders together with Airside Support Officers or higher
  • Close coordination with all baggage stakeholders for VIP flights and exception handling
  • Attend to incident on-site and carry out investigation procedures
  • Perform enforcement works to ensure staff abide to safety and security measurements Job Requirements:
    • Minimum NITEC in a relevant field
    • Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment
    • Familiarity with airport safety and security protocols is a strong advantage
    • Possession of a Class 3 driving license preferred (to operate baggage trucks)
    • Prior airline/airport scheduling experience is advantageous (especially in gate and baggage scheduling systems)
    • Must be willing and able to work on rotating shifts
    Working Hours / Location
    • 2 Days Work 2 Days Off
    • Morning : 8:30am to 8:30pm, Night : 8:30pm to 8:30am (Shift assigned)
    • Changi Airport
