Job Summary

We are seeking a Housekeeping Operations Manager to lead our housekeeping team and oversee the daily operations of our hotel. This is a critical role that requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the housekeeping staff, ensuring that all guest rooms are clean and well-maintained, and implementing policies and procedures to maintain high standards of cleanliness and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Housekeeping Operations Management:
  • Manage the housekeeping staff, including scheduling, training, and performance management.
  • Ensure that all guest rooms are cleaned and maintained to a high standard.
  • Implement policies and procedures to maintain high standards of cleanliness and customer service.
  • Cost Control and Budgeting:
  • Participate in the management of the department's controllable expenses to achieve or exceed budgeted goals.
  • Monitor and control costs associated with cleaning supplies, equipment, and other related expenses.
  • Customer Service:
  • Respond to and handle guest complaints and concerns.
  • Empower employees to provide excellent customer service.
  • Human Resources:
  • Participate in the investigation of employee accidents.
  • Supervise staffing levels to ensure that guest service, operational needs, and financial objectives are met.
  • Ensure that property policies are administered fairly and consistently.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree in hospitality, business administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in housekeeping operations or a related field.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
