As Senior Director of Airfreight Product APAC, you will be the architect of DP World’s regional airfreight strategy—driving transformational growth, forging strategic alliances, and positioning the company as an industry leader. This role requires a visionary leader to design and scale DPW’s APAC airfreight network, secure airline partnerships, and redefine service standards across the industry. Key Accountabilities Develop a 3–5-year strategic roadmap for APAC airfreight, embedding sustainability, digitalization, and customer-centric innovation. Build a resilient, scalable regional network (charters, block-space agreements, express lanes) to capture growth opportunities and outpace competitors. Diversify income through value-added services including customs brokerage integration and last-mile air-to-ground connectivity. Negotiate and manage long-term airline partnerships to secure preferential rates, guaranteed capacity, and disruption-resilient access. Partner with Sales and Key Accounts to co-create bespoke solutions for strategic clients while driving adoption of DPW’s in-house pricing tools. Leverage data and market intelligence to deploy dynamic pricing models, anticipate geopolitical and regulatory shifts, and adapt strategies proactively. Deliver EBITDA targets through yield optimization, cost efficiencies, and capital allocation to high-impact initiatives across key trade lanes. Shape industry influence by leading high-stakes negotiations with airlines, regulators, and infrastructure providers, positioning DPW as a trusted partner of choice. Ensure operational excellence by embedding risk mitigation policies, business continuity frameworks, and compliance with regional regulations. Qualifications, Experience and Skills 15+ years in senior airfreight leadership roles (e.g., Regional/Global Head of Airfreight, Airline Cargo VP) with proven P&L responsibility Track record of negotiating strategic airline agreements, launching high-margin verticals, and leading digital adoption in cargo solutions. Deep knowledge of APAC capacity dynamics, with global acumen on sustainability, compliance, and emissions regulations. Recognized for strategic agility, disruptive thinking, and ability to influence at C-suite level with airlines, regulators, and Fortune 500 clients. Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or equivalent advanced degree in Supply Chain, International Business, or related discipline preferred.
