Job Title: Mechanical Engineer - Design and Development.
As a skilled Mechanical Engineer , you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing mechanical systems and products. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring that our products meet compliance regulations and are of the highest quality.
About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Mechanical Engineer where you will be responsible for inspecting and organising batching plants, motors etc., for preventive maintenance & repairs. You will also be responsible for analysing problems or deficiencies and developing solutions to resolve them.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and organise batching plants, motors etc., for preventive maintenance & repairs
  • Ensure that machinery/products meet compliance regulations
  • Analyse problems or deficiencies and develop solutions to resolve them
  • Create and review technical drawings, plans, and specifications
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary engineering teams, and work with vendors and contractors
  • Perform detailed documentation to track project development and design process
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field
  • 1-2 years of experience working in engineering
  • Firm grasp of engineering concepts and experience designing mechanical systems and products
  • Excellent math skills: ability to apply advanced mathematical principles and statistics to solve problems
  • Experience using AutoCAD or similar
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Exceptional technical and problem-solving skills and reasoning ability
  • Ability to communicate effectively and clearly
  • Must be self-motivated and a great team worker
  • Possess a Class 3 driving license
