Job Title: Strategic Financial Director

We are seeking an experienced Financial Director to oversee the financial health and stability of our organisation. This role will ensure sound financial management, compliance with regulations, and effective use of resources to support our mission.

  • Manage daily accounting, financial reporting, and budgeting processes effectively.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for management review.
  • Monitor cash flow, forecasts, and reserves to ensure financial sustainability.
  • Oversee grant management, including donor reporting and compliance with funding requirements.
  • Ensure adherence to financial policies, internal controls, and statutory obligations.
  • Support the leadership team with financial analysis to guide decision-making.
  • Manage relationships with auditors, banks, and external stakeholders.
  • Supervise and support finance staff.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; professional certification preferred.
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant finance experience.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards and financial regulations.
  • Proficient in financial systems and MS Office (especially Excel).
  • Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
