Fire Alarm System Specialist

This is a challenging role that involves the installation, maintenance and servicing of fire protection and fire alarm systems. You will be responsible for conducting troubleshooting, repair, testing and commissioning of Fire Alarm Systems including fire alarm panels, mimic panels, detectors, fire modules etc.

The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of general fire alarm and fire protection systems and be able to ensure quality work is carried out on time.

  • Responsibilities:
  • Installation, maintenance and servicing of fire protection and fire alarm systems.
  • Conducting troubleshooting, repair, testing and commissioning of Fire Alarm Systems.
  • Performing on-site building fire alarm and protection systems inspection and testing in accordance to established standards.
  • Reviewing system breakdowns and troubleshooting.
  • Identifying functional problems and weaknesses and putting up improvement proposals to supervisors.
  • Facilitating interface with suppliers, term contractors and liaising with other stakeholders to handle faults and emergencies.

Requirements:

- NITEC in Engineering.

- Minimum 3 years relevant experience in fire/safety industry.

- Strong team player skills with ability to work independently and quickly learn new concepts.

- Preferably possess valid Class 3 driving license, able to drive van.
