We are looking for a skilled Treasury Specialist to manage liquidity, funding, and FX positions, ensuring smooth treasury operations and compliance with MAS regulations. The role includes executing Money Market, FX, and Securities transactions, maintaining liquidity ratios, managing institutional funding relationships, and supporting regulatory reporting and process improvements.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the branch's liquidity, funding, and foreign exchange (FX) positions to ensure optimal cash flow and financial stability.
  • Execute, operate, and administer treasury transactions in accordance with established guidelines.
  • Maintain and optimize short-term liquidity and cash flow management strategies.
  • Oversee FX position monitoring and management.
  • Manage funding activities and negotiations with financial institutions.
  • Conduct Know Your Customer (KYC) reviews on counterparties to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Maintain required liquidity ratios in line with regulatory expectations.
  • Conduct interbank transactions in Money Market, FX, and Securities markets.
  • Ensure precise and timely execution of trades while minimizing risk exposure.
  • Execute treasury transactions in full compliance with Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) and internal banking regulations and policies.
  • Prepare and submit required reports to Head Office and support MAS-related treasury reporting.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Perform other ad-hoc duties and tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of treasury experience, with a strong focus on Money Market instruments and derivatives, and secondary exposure to FX and securities.
  • Solid understanding of short-term cash flow and liquidity management.
  • Holds relevant CMFAS certifications required to perform FX Forward transactions in a Wholesale Banking environment.
  • Good working knowledge of financial market products; FMRP certification preferred.
  • Familiarity with MAS regulations governing treasury activities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (e.g., using formulas to create and manage cash flow sheets and reports).
  • Basic knowledge of Excel VBA programming (preferred).
  • Experience using Bloomberg terminals (preferred).
  • Holds CMFAS Module 2B and CM-SIP certifications
