About Us Chess at Three is a venture‑backed early‑education company from New York, now rapidly expanding in Singapore. We deliver two award‑winning, story‑based learning programs for kids aged 6 months to 11 years: Chess at Three – teaches chess to children as young as three through storytelling and play Birchguard Quest – a fantasy role‑playing game for ages 6–11 that builds collaboration, confidence, and communication Salary Available upon request About the Role Head of Operations – Chess at Three Singapore is seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to oversee day‑to‑day operations, provide team leadership, ensure exceptional and consistent service delivery across all programs, and support our growth mission. Operational Leadership – Design and implement systems/SOPs to streamline and optimise operations across all camps/classes, venues, and events, while ensuring a high level of quality and consistency. Operational Metrics – Establish and track operational metrics (e.g. student growth, retention, utilisation, customer satisfaction, quality scores). Growth & Expansion – Support strategic expansion into new markets, venues, and offerings. Team Management – Lead, train and develop operational, sales and teaching staff; foster a high‑performance culture and track KPIs across staff. Customer Experience – Oversee parent/partner communication, satisfaction and retention, and drive initiatives that enhance the brand promise. Logistics Management – Ensure venues, equipment, materials and supplies are fit‑for‑purpose and available; oversee logistics and inventory for clubs, camps, events, tournaments. Finance & Budgeting – Manage operating budget, monitor performance metrics and drive cost efficiency. Risk, Compliance & Governance – Ensure policies and procedures comply with industry standards and Singapore law/regulations, and are documented, communicated and adhered to. Requirements / Experience At least 5 years in operations leadership roles; experience building/scaling companies is a plus. Ex‑consultants may apply. Strong track record of managing multi‑location operations, team leadership, and delivering operational and financial targets. Excellent communication skills; adept at cross‑team collaboration with academic, marketing, finance, HR teams. Analytical mindset; comfortable with data and performance metrics. Strong sense of quality and customer/parent‑oriented mindset. Adaptability, high energy, ability to work in a fast‑growing, changing environment. Singaporean/PR preferred. #J-18808-Ljbffr
