Job Description

We are seeking a Network Operations Lead to oversee the end-to-end operations and maintenance of our SD-WAN platforms. This includes incident management, configuration changes, security governance, and performance reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform regular preventive maintenance on the SD-WAN Platform Operations
  • Support the expansion, upgrades, and roll-outs of new network and systems infrastructure involving hardware such as routers, switches, firewalls, virtual appliances, VNFs, network monitoring, and management systems.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams on new product/feature implementation, node deployment, and technical support matters.
  • Resolve faults/issues within the SD-WAN platforms services in a timely manner.
  • Analyze SD-WAN platforms performance and take proactive actions to monitor and enhance the network performance including software and hardware upgrades, etc.
  • Prepare statistical reports on network and equipment performance.
  • Assess financial information to ensure all operations are within budget.
  • Presentation of annual budgets to management.
  • Negotiate with vendors to optimize costs.
  • Perform SD-WAN platforms performance analysis.
  • Engage Engineering teams to prevent incidents caused by performance issues.
  • Archive prepared reports for future reference of job performance.
  • Review financial documents in preparation for the next cycle.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic/Computer Engineering/Computer Science/Information Systems.
  • 10 years minimum of IP network experience with 3-5 years experience with systems operations, DevOps, or cloud operations.
  • Possess expertise with routers and switches installation e.g., Cisco, Juniper, Mellanox, Dell SONiC.
  • Possess expertise with Cisco SD-WAN, VMware VeloCloud SD-WAN, HPE Aruba SilverPeak SD-WAN, Fortinet SD-WAN, FortiSASE, etc.
  • Good understanding of Internet routing protocols and technologies including TCP/IP, BGP, MPLS/VPN.
  • Knowledge of routers/switches architecture and software upgrade procedure. Good analytical and trouble-shooting skills in the area of technical fault isolation and rectification.
  • Knowledge of hypervisors such as ESXi, Adva, Proxmox, and KVM.
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes, OpenStack, and other cloud automation tools.
  • Experience with PowerBI, Service Now, and reporting tools is beneficial.
