Main Responsibilities:- Design and implement AI algorithms for analyzing medical datasets, such as MR, CT, X-ray, and microscopy data.
- Conduct research on high-precision medical analysis and data interpretation.
- Develop, test, and refine AI tools for various medical domains, ensuring tool efficiency in real-world settings.
- Design dashboards or visualization tools incorporating implemented AI algorithms, utilizing VR/AR equipment and 3D visualization to enhance clinician understanding and student training.
- Collaborate with external researchers and interdisciplinary teams to ensure project practicality and clinical relevance.
- Assist in developing AI-assisted robotic solutions for surgical procedures, including pre-operative planning and intra-operative guidance.
- Analyze and interpret AI model and medical procedure data outcomes to provide critical insights and suggestions for improvements.
- Stay aligned with the latest advancements in medical imaging, image processing, and robotics to maintain forefront research.
- Publish articles in high-quality journals to recognize and share research with the broader scientific community.
- Participate in drafting research projects to secure funding and contribute to lab strategic research direction.
- Ensure research activities adhere to ethical guidelines and patient data privacy regulations.
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or related programs.
- Strong experience in deep learning, AI, computer vision, machine learning, medical image analysis, and healthcare.
- Expert knowledge of Python, C++, PyTorch, TensorFlow, etc.
- Experience analyzing medical imaging datasets.
- Medical software implementation experience is a plus.
- Ability to communicate data science models to non-data science audiences using simple language.
- Existing publications in top-tier AI or computer vision journals/conferences are preferred.
- Strong motivation for state-of-the-art research and publication.
