Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Naval Architect to lead our engineering team in designing and developing innovative marine solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in naval architecture, marine engineering, and structural engineering.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and review layout arrangements for compliance with design specifications, safety regulations, and industry standards.
  • Conduct advanced naval architectural calculations, hydrodynamic analysis, and stability assessments.
  • Lead and mentor a team of engineers in hull form and general arrangement development, as well as hydrodynamic and stability calculations.
  • Develop technical specifications for equipment procurement and evaluate vendor bids.
  • Generate project-specific documentation and drawing lists.
  • Review and approve calculations, drawings, and material lists to ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory standards.
  • Oversee and verify technical information from external suppliers, ensuring alignment with project requirements.
  • Support internal teams and external stakeholders by providing specialized technical expertise.

Requirements

  • At least 8-10 years of experience in engineering design within the Marine, Offshore, Oil & Gas industry, or Classification Societies.
  • Degree in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, or Structural Engineering from a recognized university.
