Senior Structural Design Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a Senior Structural Design Specialist to join our team.

This is an exciting opportunity for experienced engineers to work on complex structural projects in the marine industry.

  • Lead and manage design projects from initiation through completion, ensuring timely delivery and quality results.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including naval architects, engineers, and project managers, to develop comprehensive design solutions.
  • Prepare and review technical specifications, calculations, and design documents to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Develop and implement design concepts and ideas to improve project outcomes.
  • Provide expert technical advice and support to junior designers and engineers.

Required Skills:

  • Master's degree in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, or Structural Engineering.
  • At least 7 years of experience in structural design, preferably in the marine industry.
  • Strong knowledge of international design codes, Classification/Statutory Rules, and Regulations.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills to manage teams and collaborate with stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in CAD software, such as AutoCAD, Aveva Marine, NAPA, and Rhino 3D.
