Position Summary As the Store Manager, the individual needs to plan and direct the day-to-day operations of the store. S/he needs to develop strategies to improve customer service, drive store sales, increase profitability, create store policies and marketing programs that will increase sales and grow the existing customer base. S/he needs to maintain high store standards and conditions and foster a positive environment. Responsibilities Develop business strategies to raise our customers' pool, expand store traffic and optimise profitability Be incharge of the floor staff and setting an example for your team of retail assistants Administrative duties in scheduling working staff and occasionally sourcing for suitable candidates to join the HUFT retail team with preference for those familiar with the Singapore retail environment Ability to efficiently draw up a restocking list to ensure that there is an optimal amount of merchandise available for pet parents Complete store administration and ensure compliance with policies and procedures Meet sales goals by training, motivating, mentoring and providing feedback to sales staff Ensure high levels of customers satisfaction through excellent service Report on buying trends, customer needs, profits etc Conduct personnel performance appraisals to assess training needs and build career paths Deal with all issues that arise from staff or customers (complaints, grievances etc)Additional store manager duties as needed Qualifications, Skills and Competencies 5 -10 years of relevant experience Bachelor's/Diploma degree in the relevant field Excellent communication skills (verbal & written)Proven working experience in retail sales Customer service focused Strong budgeting and financial operations skills Leadership experience and ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds Animal Lover Preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr
