Job Summary Under limited supervision, designs, develops, and maintains test procedures, tester hardware, and software for electronic circuit board production. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Review circuit board designs for testability requirements. Support manufacturing with failure analysis, tester debugging, reduction of intermittent failures, and downtime of test equipment. Prepare testing recommendations and document procedures from the product design phase through initial production. Generate reports and analyze test data, providing documentation and recommendations. Review test equipment designs, data, and RMA issues with customers regularly. Design and direct engineering and technical personnel in fabricating testing and test control apparatus and equipment. Coordinate activities related to development, procurement, installation, and calibration of testing instruments and equipment. Determine test conditions, sequences, and phases of operations. Control and oversee operational, functional, and performance phases of tests. Perform moderately complex engineering test assignments for standard and custom devices. Analyze and interpret test data, preparing technical reports for test engineering and management. Develop or utilize computer software and hardware for testing machinery and equipment. Maintain semi-routine testing techniques following Jabil standards, including ISO and QS. Provide training on new procedures to testing staff if needed. Adhere to all safety, health, and security procedures. Minimum Requirements Bachelor's degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering preferred, or equivalent experience/training. Technical Skills and Experience Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with In-Circuit Tester (ICT) and Flying Probe Tester (AXI). Experience fine-tuning test programs to resolve No Defect Found (NDF) issues and improve First Pass Yield (FPY). Ability to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair testing machines during downtime.
