System Assurance Manager Job Description:

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced System Assurance Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing system safety assurance activities within the RTS Link Project.

  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in safety management and assurance, with experience in leading cross-functional teams to deliver safe and cost-effective solutions.
  • A key aspect of this role is to work closely with the RAMS team to ensure all safety-related milestones are met.
  • Additional responsibilities include overseeing safety analyses, managing Hazard Logs, reviewing RAM, Cyber, V&V, and T&C activities from a Safety perspective.
  • The chosen candidate will also support tenders to integrate product/systems in projects on safety-related matters, lead the tender effort for the appointment of Independent Safety Assessors/Auditors (ISAs), and build Safety Reports and/or Safety Cases for submission to Grantors and Regulators.
  • Analyze data using safety assurance methodologies (risk acceptance criteria, safety analysis, verification, and validation) defined for the project/system/product, setting up RAMS performance metrics.
  • Organize and attend periodic reviews to the Safety Review Advisory Panel (SRAP) chaired by the CEO and expert panelists from Prasarana and SMRT.
  • Collaborate with the Operations and Maintenance team in their readiness for Trial Operations Pre-Revenue and eventual Revenue Operations.
  • The role also involves chairing the Failure Review Board (FRB) and setting up the Failure Reporting Analysis and Correction Action System (FRACAS) during Trial Operations and Defects Liability Period (DLP).
  • Develop and implement the RTS Link Safety Management System (SMS).
  • Work from Woodlands and Johor Bahru office locations, as required.
