BIM Modeller cum Drafter Role Overview \

This role is focused on creating high-quality drafting and design coordination to support the successful delivery of civil and structural engineering projects.

  • Job Description: As a BIM Modeller cum Drafter, you will be responsible for producing accurate and detailed drawings using CAD software. You will work closely with engineers and architects to interpret and implement design concepts into precise and comprehensive designs.

  • Design Coordination: You will coordinate with civil and structural engineers to ensure that your designs align with project specifications and requirements. This involves reviewing design documents to identify potential conflicts or issues and proposing solutions.

  • Document Management: You will maintain organized and up-to-date documentation of all drawings, revisions, and related project files. Your goal will be to ensure that all drawings comply with industry regulations and company standards.

  • Quality Control: Conduct quality checks on drawings to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with relevant codes and standards. Address feedback and revisions promptly to meet project deadlines.

  • Communication: Collaborate with project teams, engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to address design-related queries and provide clarifications. Participate in design review meetings and contribute insights to improve the overall design process.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • \

  • Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Drafting, or a related field.

    \

  • Familiarity with 3D CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.).

    \

  • Knowledge of Bentley, Fuzor, Synchro, Navisworks is advantageous.

    \

  • Understanding of civil and structural engineering principles and construction methods.
