Job Opportunity: Coastal Engineering Expert
We are seeking an accomplished Coastal Engineer to join our team in Singapore. As a key member, you will be responsible for the technical execution of complex projects, collaborating closely with project managers and clients.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Numerical Modelling: Develop and apply numerical models to study hydrodynamics, waves condition, as well as inland flood modelling for climate adaptation studies.
  • Project Management: Manage projects including assessments such as Marine Risk Assessments, Mooring simulations, Navigation simulations.
  • Proposal Preparation: Lead and prepare proposals in port and terminal involving navigation, mooring and marine risk assessments.
Knowledge and Skills:
  • At least a Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering, science or oceanography.
  • Over 10 years' experience in executing challenging coastal/marine projects like EIA, feasibility, climate change or metocean studies.
  • Experience with MIKE by DHI software suite is considered advantageous.
  • Proficiency in programming languages like Matlab, Python or R is desirable.
  • Success in preparing technical and financial proposals to secure new projects.
  • A record of publications in technical conferences/journals is beneficial.
  • Fluency in English with excellent report writing skills.
  • Ability to work independently, self-motivated, and highly technically competent.
  • Strong focus on problem solving and client satisfaction.
  • Excellent networking skills for collaboration with specialists across the organization.
