Overview
Senior Compliance Manager / Head of Compliance - Financial Services
Lead the compliance function of a growing global fintech payments firm. You’ll ensure regulatory adherence while embedding a strong, enterprise-wide compliance culture.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage all compliance activities, ensuring alignment with local regulatory obligations, internal policies, and best practices.
Serve as the primary liaison with financial regulators
Implement and maintain programs spanning AML, KYC, data protection, financial crime prevention, risk management, and related compliance domains.
Conduct risk assessments and ensure effective controls to mitigate compliance risks.
Advise senior leadership and board-level stakeholders on compliance matters and evolving regulatory trends.
Deliver targeted compliance training to employees, promoting ongoing regulatory awareness.
Monitor regulatory developments; recommend and implement necessary updates to policies and procedures.
Prepare and submit accurate, timely regulatory reports.
Lead internal and external compliance audits and oversee remediation of audit findings.
Collaborate with Legal, Risk, Operations, and other teams to support business operations while maintaining compliance.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
3+ years’ of regulatory experience
In-depth understanding of financial regulatory framework
Demonstrated experience in managing regulatory relationships and navigating compliance audits.
