Job Scope:
The Personnel shall be competent to provide administrative support to the teachers on the following duties:
(a) Preparing the necessary apparatus and materials needed by the Science teachers before lessons;
(b) Labelling and grouping the items for easy access, turn on necessary IT equipment before teacher is in the class;
(c) Assisting teachers in supervision of students during lab work;
(d) Maintaining the equipment and apparatus in the science room;
(e) Updating inventory list, identifying and condemning items which are not of working condition;
(f) Collating necessary materials to be purchased and liaising with the teachers;
(g) Helping teachers to buy perishable items for Science experiments;
(h) Assisting Science teachers in carrying out Science events, registration and collection of forms (if any);
(i) Helping out with Science Head of Department work in the afternoons eg. collation of survey results, typing of simple forms, any other administrative duties as required;
(j) Assisting with school's safety management measures including managing student crowd control at arrival and dismissal time;
(k) Supervising students during unstructured play time during recess. Assisting with any other assigned duties.
Requirements:
Have one year's experience working in a similar job in a primary school;
Be conversant in MS Word, MS Excel and MS Powerpoint.
Working Arrangement:
Mon to Thu : 6:45am to 3:45pm
Fri : 6:45am to 3:15pm
Services not required on Saturdays, Sundays & gazetted public holidays.
Contract Period:
11 months (from Feb 2026)
