Job Title: Plaster Finishing Specialist
Roles & Responsibilities:
To excel as a skilled plasterer, you will be responsible for preparing work surfaces by thoroughly cleaning, repairing cracks, levelling, and priming before applying plaster. This involves meticulous attention to detail to ensure smooth, even, and durable finishes that meet project specifications and quality standards.
Key responsibilities include:
  • Mixing and preparing plaster, mortar, cement, and related materials to the required consistency.
  • Applying plaster, render, skimming coats, or decorative finishes to walls, ceilings, and other surfaces using appropriate tools and techniques.
  • Ensuring that all surfaces are protected from damage during the application process.
  • Repairing, patching, or restoring existing plasterwork where necessary.
Skills and Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess excellent skills in manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and physical stamina. Additionally, proficiency in:
  • Manual material handling
  • Operating power tools and equipment
  • Working at heights and confined spaces
