Mechanical Supervisor Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the installation, assembly, and testing of mechanical systems, including piping, valves, and static equipment.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in mechanical construction, with at least 3-5 years of experience in a supervisory role. They will also have excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and coordinate with other discipline supervisors.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise installation, assembly, and testing of mechanical systems, including piping, valves, and static equipment
  • Ensure work is executed in accordance with project specifications, drawings, method statements, and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs)
  • Verify alignment, torqueing, and testing procedures are carried out correctly

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent industry experience
  • Strong expertise in mechanical systems, including piping, valves, and static equipment
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Familiarity with project scheduling, resource allocation, and progress measurement
