Cafe Beverage Manager

Job Overview:

Seeking a highly skilled Cafe Beverage Manager to oversee daily operations, ensuring exceptional beverage preparation and customer service. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of quality and training the barista team in beverage preparation, customer service, and cafe operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Beverage Quality Control & Preparation:
    Ensure consistent quality by enforcing high standards of preparation and introducing new beverages to keep the menu fresh.
  • Team Leadership & Training:
    Lead, mentor, and train the barista team, ensuring they are knowledgeable and skilled in beverage preparation, customer service, and cafe operations.
  • Customer Service & Experience:
    Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with customers, addressing their needs, and creating a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Inventory Management & Maintenance:
    Manage inventory levels for coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies, ensuring they are always well-stocked. Oversee the maintenance and cleanliness of coffee equipment.
  • Marketing Support & Sales Growth:
    Collaborate with the marketing team to promote coffee specials and events. Monitor sales trends and provide feedback to improve offerings.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Senior/Head Barista or equivalent, with at least 3 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
  • Experience creating new drinks menus.
  • In-depth knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and equipment.
  • Experience in inventory management is a plus.
