Job Descriptions
Support Head of Events with conceptualization, planning, logistics, and execution of all events, including physical, virtual, or hybrid events, internal staff events, and regular club programs.
Manage events administration.
Operationally run all events in our private event spaces (set up, service, tear down).
Manage each event, ensuring the required staff and correct staffing levels are in place.
Work closely with relevant internal departments to organize the different formats of events, ensuring we meet member expectations and ticket sales targets.
Organize and manage the required stock for the event spaces (tables, furniture, linen, crockery, cutlery, IT equipment, glassware).
Deliver each event impeccably, meeting all event expectations.
Provide feedback from all events to ensure they are delivered to the required standard.
Build and cement relationships with existing members and expand the club offering beyond the physical premises.
Lead by example regarding service standards as required in a luxury brand environment.
Ensure a truly warm and welcoming experience for all members and visitors dining in the club.
Exceed guest expectations at all times in all areas of lounge, dining, and events service delivery.
Develop wine knowledge (e.g., via in-house WSET training).
Develop an outstanding knowledge of all food, wines, cooking techniques, and allergy requirements to ensure guests can be advised appropriately at all times.
Develop an outstanding knowledge of restaurant service styles.
Perform all duties and responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with established company policies and procedures to achieve the overall objectives of this position.
Assist in planning and coordinating menus with the chef and sommelier team for events.
Respond to inquiries, managing member feedback and complaints.
Meet and greet guests, organizing table reservations for events.
Develop knowledge and advise guests on menu and wine choices for events.
Help in any area of the club when circumstances dictate, as directed by Head of Events.
