Roles & Responsibilities Job Description Industry/ Organization Type: Manufacturer (Electrical Power Distribution, Control and Automation Systems) Position Title: Estimation Engineer / Project Costing Officer Working Location: Tuas Crescent (Transportation Provided) Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 8.15am – 5.45pm Salary Package: Up to $4000 + AWS + Variable Bonus Duration: Permanent Key Responsibilities Estimate and cost switchboards and related products. Prepare quotations, compile technical data, brochures, catalogues, and layout drawings for client submissions. Manage indoor and telephone sales inquiries. Support Sales Engineers with order follow-ups. Develop and improve computerized methods for costing, estimation, and quotations. Review and compare estimated costs with actual expenses for awarded jobs, managing budgets accordingly. Ensure the accuracy and acceptability of costing levels. Collaborate with the Purchasing Department to source components or parts for optimization and cost-effectiveness when needed. Assist with internal or external coordination tasks. Undertake additional responsibilities as directed by supervisors. Adhere to Quality Management System procedures for effective implementation and control.
