Facilities Manager Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Facilities Manager to oversee the operation and maintenance of mechanical and electrical systems in our facilities. The successful candidate will have a degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or Facilities Management, with 4-5 years of experience in facilities management focusing on M&E systems.

The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, Green Mark standards, energy management, and IBMS. Experience in hands-on troubleshooting, SmartFM technologies implementation, and procurement processes is essential.

The Facilities Manager will be responsible for overseeing venue operations, including establishing efficient processes for event setup and teardown, coordinating with stakeholders and vendors for logistics, and managing venue handover procedures.

The role requires strong technical writing abilities for tenders and specifications, as well as excellent communication skills for stakeholder management. Analytical problem-solving capabilities and proficiency in maintenance management software are also necessary.

The Facilities Manager will work closely with the team to maintain operational excellence, drive sustainability initiatives, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

  • Maintain efficient operation and maintenance of mechanical and electrical systems
  • Support the implementation of SmartFM solutions and IoT integration
  • Manage M&E procurement activities, including preparing tender documents and evaluating quotations
  • Oversee venue operations, including event setup and teardown procedures
  • Drive sustainability initiatives and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements

The ideal candidate will be adaptable, able to manage multiple priorities, and available for 24/7 standby duties. Team leadership experience is preferred.
